Today, I have an exciting peek into my office renovation project. If you haven’t been following my Rental House Reno Office project, you won’t care about my sneak peek, so you really need to head over here so I can embarrass myself some more with my messy office.
You know those things called children? They tend to expect you to feed them, drive them places, and keep them busy for week-long spring break adventures. Well, life happens, so the office reno was put on the back burner for a short time. Fortunately though, it is now in full force once again.
This handsome guy I like to call Mr. Carpenter was putting a TON of love into an important project for my room. He was working in the dark, finishing it up.
Nobody has ever built me anything like this before. This is a piece I’ll have for the rest of my life. It’s one of those..don’t-let-the-movers-touch-it-or-I’ll-hunt-you-down-for-the-rest-of-your-life kinda pieces.
Some people amaze me with what they can do. He is one of them.
The next step is to give it one more quick sanding, stain it, and seal it. Do you know how challenging it’s going to be for me to choose a stain? I’ll never forgive myself for messing this sucker up.
I might go with one of these, thanks to Elizabethbixler.com:
What do you think? I’m leaning more toward a grey stain. What color stain would you choose? Maybe you wouldn’t stain it. Would you paint it? Tell me nowwwwww.
